This is a 2nd take on the view to Yallingup Beach, a favourite place of mine. In this painting I used granulation medium to create textural interest in the foreground while keeping the background more minimal. I love how the windswept melaleuca frames the view making the aqua blue ocean pop. You just want head to that beach.
Jill Bryant is a West Australian artist, based in Fremantle. Jill inspired by the colours‚ textures and emotive elements of everything around her making her work extremely varied. Her passion for art started at a very early age and has continued to grow along with her skills awarding her with Dux of her year in two art institutions during her years of art education. Although a qualified Graphic Designer her real love is for painting‚ both in impressionistic and abstract forms.
The watercolour medium never ceases to captivate her and has moved her to push the boundaries producing stunning watercolour abstracts and impressionist works.
