The painting was inspired by the energy and complexity of flowering plants in spring. It acts as a focal point and adds warmth, as well as providing a balance for modern interiors.
Jillian began painting in the 1980’s with commissions from friends and family for large contemporary paintings to suit specific residential interior decoration applications. Her early works such as “Ochre” and “Horizon” demonstrate her subtle use of colour, texture and form. Each piece created by Jillian is crafted with a unique perspective, often blending bold strokes with intricate detailing to create a balance of chaos and harmony.
