I’m an acrylic artist who’s always been drawn to the landscapes of Australia. A lot of my inspiration comes from traveling, taking photos, and just soaking in the feeling of a place. My paintings usually start with a photo I’ve taken, but I’m not trying to recreate the scene exactly. It’s more about capturing the emotion and atmosphere of that moment.
Australia has this incredible range of scenery—coastlines, deserts, forests—and I try to bring that variety into my work. I want people to look at my paintings and feel something real, like they’ve been there too, or like the scene reminds them of somewhere meaningful.
At the end of the day, it’s about connection—for me and for anyone who sees my work. If it stirs a memory or makes someone pause and feel grounded, then I’ve done what I set out to do.
