Not Pingu

Look into the worn eyes of the doll, the darkness, the loneliness. So full of so much emptiness, wanting to feel the warmth of love but only knowing cold. As the world buzzes around, it remains still as if time has slowed down. The paradox of the parallel. It watches you as you watch it.

This piece encapsulates the thrill, the fun, the jump scares of a horror movie, whilst at the same time, the silence and the tension as it builds.

And of course, this character is not Pingu.

I’m an NT based artist creating work inspired by street art and abstract forms, often featuring character-driven elements. My pieces aim to make an immediate visual impact while encouraging creativity. My work has sold both locally and internationally, including through Bluethumb and social platforms. I’ve exhibited at the AANT Centre and run community workshops that help people express themselves through art. At the core, my focus is creating work that speaks for itself and inspiring others to do the same, whether in a gallery or on a wall.
