Jingmin Ren (任静敏)Spiritual Energy Artist
Jingmin Ren is a renowned spiritual artist based in Sydney, Australia. Her solo art exhibition - Jingmin Ren Art Exhibition 2023 is currently held in Bankstown City Library and Knowledge Centre.
St. Martha’s Catholic primary school Strathfield commissioned her in 2012 to paint a series of oil paintings based on the Biblical book of Genesis. The school put the bible’s words, “God saw everything that he has made, and indeed, it was very good.” Genesis 3.1, in the middle of her artworks.
Over the last ten years, Jingmin Ren has held various art exhibitions around the world, including Australia, USA and China. She has also been featured worldwide in many online exhibitions.
For the past three years, she has been capturing sunrises over Sydney City. Jingmin loves to share her knowledge and skills with art lovers. As a volunteer art teacher, she has continuously received appreciation certificates from Canterbury Bankstown City Library and Knowledge Centres.
As an Australian-Chinese female artist growing up in colourful Yunnan, mysterious totems and beautiful myths have been deeply imprinted in her bones since she was a child; her artworks present a unique artistic style, filled with symbolism and surrealist structural characteristics.
After settling in Australia, Jingmin Ren has been inspired by Australia’s amazing sceneries and natural elements.
She paints with oil on canvas, using romantic expression techniques with light, shadow, and tone to present positive energy movement, connecting time, space, all creatures and the universe.
Her artworks are about the universe and significant landmarks, including the Sydney Opera House. Her “Sydney Morning” and “Flow of Light” oil paintings series have been exhibited worldwide.
Through her works, the audience may embark on a magical dream journey - warm, beautiful, unique and transcendent - feeling love, energy and hope while appreciating the wonderful universe.
