Jo, a native New Zealander moved to Noosa QLD in 2021, after 15 year living & working in London. A constant yearning for home sees her painting from childhood memories of time spent in nature & many of her latest pieces draw on personal iconography.
Jo studied interior design and having spent many years in the property industry in the UK, her pieces are created with a whole room aesthetic in mind. Her style moves effortlessly from moody landscapes & coastal seascapes, to pieces inspired by urban architectural shapes and recently collections of memories drawn from her travels.
Jo has been painting for over 20 years and prior to living in the UK, held exhibitions in Wellington & was a regular contributor to the ARTWORKS exhibitions held annually in Auckland.
Her work can currently be viewed at The Noosa Art Gallery and you will find her most days in her sunny Tewantin studio.
