As you approach Fern Pool in Karjini, the first glimpse of the turquoise depths can be seen through these shady gums. The air is full of life, bats hanging lazily overhead, water rushing and insects chatting. Karjini is sacred to the Banyjima, Yinhawangka and Kurramana traditional owners.
