Artwork Description

Swimming with whale sharks swirling below you is completely magical.
The Inuit goddess Sedna was betrayed by those sworn to protect her. Pushed from a canoe to drown in a raging storm, she sank to the bottom of the ocean where she transformed into all the sea creatures so precious to the Inuit people - turtles, whales, seals. To me Sedna represents powerful transformation & the allure of the unknown. For this artwork I wanted to dive deep into indigo waters & paint Sedna in all her guises.
