Layers of acrylic paint on canvas reveal an other worldly aspect which evokes the title 'Subtle Knife'. Inspired in part by the Golden Compass books by Phillip Pullman, the painting investigates the idea that we can move between worlds and that these vast skies are somehow a portal.
