Artwork Description

Framed in black with white matting behind glass for your viewing pleasure. This piece was created on BFK Rives cotton ordered in directly from France.

The storm rolls in. Roll in it. Roll with it. Travel its depths without fear for you are carried. From the storm comes a cleansing with its waters making you anew. There is a force, a powerful charge forging the path before you. You have all you need within you. You may take the reins, though you are required only to hold them. Hold them for the feel of communication, to travel as energy between you and your divine guidance. They are not for you to control or dictate. The are only for you to hold and to be held by. Just like the willow charcoal, you don't need much to say what needs to be said and see what needs to be seen. It is not complicated, but it does require trust, and to know that your steps are divinely ordered. Good luck my friend.

Her work has also been leased privately to help showcase multi-million dollar properties here in Australia. This year her work "Behind These Eyes" won best in show at the 1770 Art Show judged by Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) Assistant Director Tarragh Cunningham (AU$5,000).
Jo is faith driven with a passion for life and is inspired by simple moments in time that present themselves to us at any given moment. These brushes with life often feel magical or profound, and yet appear in seemingly ordinary environments to the watchful eye and waiting spirit. Sometimes they materialise in the back garden, a street corner, down at the beach while riding the horse, in our dreams or even in a conversation. These moments and conversations often feature in her work. We hope you enjoy.
