Artwork Description

A monumental vertical diptych from Joanna Wolthuizen’s contemporary hard-edge abstraction practice.

Structured bands of colour interlock across two adjoining canvases, forming a single continuous architectural landscape that balances movement, stillness, and light within a refined geometric language.

Designed for tall interior spaces and stairwells, the composition functions as a visual column—drawing the eye upward while maintaining calm spatial harmony. The two panels may be installed closely joined to read as one unified artwork or slightly separated to emphasise the dialogue between forms.

Painted in acrylic on canvas and presented in a slim black shadow-line frame, the work is ready to hang and can also be professionally framed as one continuous piece for a fully monumental presentation.

Size:

Diptych — two canvases

Each canvas: 140 × 153 cm
