Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas
170 × 170 cm

Architecture distilled into form.

Bold architectural forms are held in a carefully balanced composition of warm ochre, deep blue, olive and ivory. A monumental arch anchors the work, while smaller geometric elements introduce rhythm, proportion and intimacy.

Drawing on the clarity, optimism and geometric language of mid-century modernism, MONUMENT explores architecture not as a literal place, but as something remembered - simplified into colour, proportion and form.
