You bring sunshine

Sunflowers always turn in the direction of the light as they distinctively know it's a source of strength and renewal. Be like the sunflower and look for the light in your world. My Grand daughter said," that's me nanna with a wig on". She is my sunshine she scatters seeds of happiness everywhere she goes.

I can see this painting displayed in an entrance way or kitchen and framed in a rustic country style frame. Where ever you choose to hang though it's bound to bring some sunshine.

From a very young art has been part of my life and the urge to create has always stayed with me. The Australian landscape with it's everchanging colours, and unique flora and fauna supply me with a constant source of inspiration. When exploring this beautiful country of ours the camera and my eyes are always open wide taking it all in. . I get a delight in painting animals incorporating humour and capturing their personalities. I do believe that art should not only be a thing of beauty but bring joy and make people smile. I live amongst nature where my garden is my sanctuary and lots of birds visit so I will never run out of ideas for my next painting.. In the past I have created many one of a kind miniature fairy sculptures which are now in private collections all over the world. So you will also find that there will be a fairy painting or two in amongst my works. Art has brought me much joy and i love that I get to share this with others.
