Throughout my whole life I have been inspired by the beauty and simplicity of nature from which I create paintings in an abstract impressionist style using flowers as my subject representing love, appreciation of nature, femininity and peace. I am a self-taught artist but have sort mentorship from practicing artists. Art is important to me and I demand independence of thought and freedom of expression without interference from external sources. I am passionate about art and wish to maintain an individual approach to painting, yet at the same time I am open to any discussion that may broaden my outlook. As a result I paint using a minimal style allowing the soft strokes and peaceful images in my painting to speak from themselves. I enjoy using different colour arrangements, expanding my palette from painting to painting. For a number of years now I have been honing my skills using acrylic paint on canvas as my chosen medium with a desire to explore the nuances of paint to reveal beauty through the subjects that I choose.
