Geranium 1.

I really wanted the beauty of this classic red geranium to jump out from the canvas and I think the dark background does this. As a horticulturist I observe plants on the daily and you cant beat the simplicity and colour geraniums supply. Broad confident brushstrokes suggest petals and shadow on the leaves. The moody colours sit nicely in a entrance way, hallway or kitchen nook. Would be nice in a floral series feature wall.
