The Doppler Effect is an original, one-of-a-kind, hand cut paper collage artwork made from recycled magazine pages.
The combination of the pattern of concentric shapes, the colours; the shades of blue and red, and the size of this work, result in this piece seeming to move all on its own, and to look at it for a prolonged time really can have a quite dizzying effect.
It was exhibited in my Some Assembly Required solo exhibition at Gallery ONE88 in Katoomba in 2016.
The work is finished with a glossy varnish, which really makes the colours pop, and is supplied ready to hang.
