Acrylic on stretched canvas, ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
This protea is the first I’d managed to grow in my new garden bed. It’s magical soft centre, holding all sorts of colourful swirls, being the basis for the long spikes of yellow. This is the second painting of this flower - the first just being too small to do it justice. At this size it’s just perfect for a small statement in any house.
Finished with gloss varnish and black edges.
