As a young girl I always loved the idea of fairy’s, tree sprites and all things mythical. It was definitely the magic link between my love of nature and the unknown. As an adult I still harbour this childhood fantasy and when I found this gorgeous little handmade ceramic tree sprite I knew it had to be mine. It has graced my kitchen shelf ever since, sitting there waiting it’s turn to be a feature in one of my paintings. And what a sweet little feature it turned out to be. This painting is for the young and young at heart, for those who love unique ceramic artworks, and unique still life paintings. It is sure to elicit joy and smiles in the way only a magical tree sprite can.
