The Squire Painting is my very first still life. Painted for an exhibition in 2024 at Up Gallery Sassafras Victoria. It sold within days at the Art Gallery Event. Original artwork sold for $1,010.
John Duke was born in the heart of Melbourne Australia (Glen Iris) He currently lives in the Yarra Ranges Victoria. He works fulltime as an Apparel Technologist and Owner for Australian made fashion company Victor Alexandre Design. His Artwork is full of life and colour. John Duke loves working on paper using acrylic paint and masking tape debris. His favorite Artists are Sir Sydney Nolan, Ken Done and Rimona Kedem.
