I'm an Irish freelance wildlife artist based in Canberra since 2022.
I was born in Killyleagh, Northern Ireland and grew up exploring the shores of the Strangford Lough, not far from Belfast. The Irish woodlands, shorelines and rural landscape, instilled in me a deep-rooted love of nature and wildlife. That love now extends, in particular, to the unique birds and animals of Australia.
I work in a variety of mediums including oils, acrylics and watercolours and like to put nature under a microscope to show some of the detail and vibrancy of the incredible creatures that are the focus of my work.
Over the years I've contributed to various exhibitions in Belfast (including at Holywood Arches Gallery, the Collett Art Gallery, Browns Gallery and the Black Box) and in Vietnam. In early 2024, I mounted a successful one man exhibition in Canberra.
