This painting depicts the numerous giant eucalyptus trees located toward the centre of the Grose Valley near Blackheath in the Blue Mountains NSW. The location itself is called the Blue Gum Forest which was saved from logging not too long ago. Thankfully this beautiful location will continue to provide both habitat and the site for any one who is ready to take on the challenge of descending and reascending into this part of the valley. This stunning place has long provided inspiration for my art, resulting in a number of art works being created.
