An imagined scene on the Great Barrier Reef Queensland. A Greenback Turtle swims above Beaked Coral Fish, High-fin coral fish, Lined Butterflyfish, Purple Queen fish, Sting Ray, Humbug fish, Trigger Fish, and Moorish idol fish. Above Yellow Fin Tuna chase bait fish, while Sharks and a Manta Ray lurk in the distance. The Great Barrier Reef is one of the world's greatest natural wonders and is very complex, colourful, and changeable making it exciting to paint.
I’ve spent many hours studying the Great Barrier Reef, the fish, and varieties of corals, analyzing the way they grow, their patterns, colours, and the way they waft or swim in the currents. Painting the Great Barrier, where almost every imaginable creature and colour scheme exists; allows me to create a world where can extend my imagination. Nonetheless, I do make sure the fish and corals are from the Great Barrier Reef.
