This painting is based on a gestural sketch from Jenolan Caves road, between the Blue Mountains and Oberon, NSW Australia. The sun bathed this hill in amber for what seemed a like far too short amount of time. There was a light breeze, and the road was dead quiet. It was an utterly gorgeous moment.
