"Blackpool Rock" curls with luminous pink exuberance — a playful echo of seaside confections and the curved sweep of waves meeting shore. Beneath its bright surface lies a nod to the layered pinkish sandstone of Blackpool’s coast, where time is etched in strata and candy stripes alike. This piece fuses the geological with the nostalgic: a meeting point of ancient earth and summer thrills, where history and holiday ride the same tide.
Former passionfruit farmer now sculpting nature’s textures. Inspired by travels in Australia and France, I create tactile, layered forms that reflect the quiet complexity of the land and culture.
