Artwork Description

I love a bush landscape that evokes emotion and carries a story.
I’ve tried to express the inevitable but much needed storm coming in across the very dry paddocks housing the old work trucks that are no longer serving the farm.Rusty relics of the past that have now been parked, stripped of their “valuable “parts and left for the paddock to eventually consume the remains.
I did an acrylic underpaint for the rough in then spent quite a while layering in the oils over the top.
It’s a scene from north western NSW which is often in drought and longs for the odd downfall.
