Young Explorers Ed. 2 of 30

In soft morning light, three lion cubs only a few months old set out across open ground on one of their first explorations. One led the way with confidence. The other two followed, pausing to look around with wide, curious eyes.

Lion cubs grow up in a crèche. The lionesses of a pride often raise their young together, and cubs of similar ages become constant companions, playing, wrestling and exploring as a group. Every walk like this is a lesson, in moving across open country, watching for danger and keeping up with the pride.

The three cubs walk in a loose line from left to right across a warm, soft background of dust and dry grass. Their small bodies, big paws and alert faces give the image an irresistible charm.

It is a warm, endearing print that suits a nursery, child's room, living room or study. It makes a meaningful gift for siblings, a family of three, a new baby or anyone who has been on safari.
