Growing up on a farm in the Tasmanian bush has given me a love for the Australian landscape.
Now living in Perth West Australia I love to depict scenes involving forests and native birds locally and the South West.
I also like to paint beach scenes and people.
Having painted in watercolour, and oils my recent medium of choice is acrylics in particular Hydrocryl paints created in Australia with incredible vitality and colour with no harmful substances… responds well to spontaneous brush marks and drys fast.
I want to capture light, colour, movement, and inject a sense of joy and fun into my work.
Something that will lift the human spirit and make people happy and bring the outside in what better way than with beautiful forest, beach or landscape.
