*7 Cerise Muse Series*
This painting kicks off the first of a new series titled ‘7 Cerise Muse’. It’s mostly a continuation of the previous series but with a heavy Francis Bacon styled influence.
The colour palette used throughout this series is pulled from a late 1960’s Bacon Painting. Besides the colour combo’s, some other similarities are texture and mark making also I’ve put more emphasis on the backgrounds, adding more detail and a defined depth.
