Artwork Description

I've always been impressed by the curiosity and playfulness of Cows. I wanted to capture one on the canvas with a proud and bold stance. We depend so much on the cow and I hope this work captures their nobility and charm.

The piece is 101cm by 76cm and is painted in oils. The brush strokes are distinct and separate and lead the eye through the grass through the main subject and into the sky above. The distant hills are charred from a sweeping flame. A small hut sits behind the cow.

This painting would be a great addition to the walls of a local butcher. It would make a great gift for the home of those who hold dear the cow and for bringing the farm to the city.
