Rome Italy's eternal city. I have been lucky enough to be married to an Italian and have stayed in Rome on holidays, the magnificent architecture of ancient Rome with its statues, palaces and colosseums are always impressive and should be experienced by everyone in their lifetime.

This version is on canvas, which is unsual for my work as i prefer the smoother finish of wooden panels. Panels also allow me to go into greater detail whilst canvas can lose some when rendering the painting. But this turned out beautifully nonetheless and I'll be painting more large canvas paintings in the future. All my paintings are framed in my studio.
