I have painted most of my life and continue to find joy and childlike wonder in my colourful imagination. I also stretch my own quality Belgian linen canvases that I feel are alive and breathing. This gives more energy to the oil paint. (Shout out to Cat at Fitzroy Stretchers, beautiful strong wood, always slotted on point).
In my travels I discovered that certain elements can hold positive and divine energy within them. Oil paint is one of them which is a miracle, as can gold and marble for example. Apologies to the academics I dont have a specific reference other than the knowledge is contained in the Veda's. I learnt it more hands on with the sage guidance of an alchemist. My intention is to load my paintings with joy and wonder and increase the joy and wonder in others.
I have understood the nature of sound vibrations and how they affect our consciousness and well-being therefore I paint with positive transcendental energy to help raise the knowledge, well-being and bliss of all living beings moving and non-moving.
I have had several exhibitions over 40 years and also left many paintings and drawings around the world due to a traumatic experience that affected my mental health causing me to leave places before exhibitions were finished, so if you have one you're welcome (including the stolen ones).
