Joseph Turrin is an artist, based in Sydney, NSW, Australia. His work traverses his interest in the history of ceramics, textiles and nature. Turrin’s approach to making is playful in manner with clay coil-building in his the predominant technique used. Some of his works remain functionally ambiguous with others referencing the utilitarian shapes found throughout the history of ceramics.
