Artist Bio

Born in 1982, Joshua Bollback Butler currently lives and works in Sydney. Butler paints stories he lives and learns by with paper speakings, word swirls and wood works. They are created by using fine tip markers, coloured pencils, gold leaf on paper and wood. Belonging to his country, Australian natives and animals fill his art in a decorative and Art Nouveau inspired style – like medieval stained glass windows with a contemporary twist.
