This work represents the simplicity of the Woman's body in needing nothing aside from herself and the placenta to support this new life. The 'infinity' symbolizes the ongoing life, while the limited lines and form creates a sense of freedom and openness to the natural progression that is to follow in this amazing process.
The Pregnancy Collection of works came about following my own pregnancy journeys and the emotions surrounding this. Pregnancy is such a profound gift, that not all are able to experience and whether it's the pregnancy itself, or the life that follows, this process and time is such a sacred thing that holds a special place in the heart.
