This painting is my vision or expression of my reaction to the perfection of nature, particularly flora. Living in the sub-tropics , I am surrounded by the lushness, sculptural shapes, exotic surrounds and vivid colours of the natural world ; a major influence in my present work. My interpretation is at once imaginary and real...flower shapes and colours, but often exaggerated and distorted imagery intertwined and overlapping, taking the viewer on a journey of movement through sensuous shapes and colours.
