Artwork Description

One of the hardest three day hikes but oh what a view of the Hinchinbrook Channel once you arrive.

Artist Bio

From the desire to paint, to the art she creates, Judy has been on a journey of learning new skills and self discovery. Her home in the rainforest of Mission Beach, gives the perfect environment for creativity and capturing her visions on canvas, where art has become a loved therapeutic practice.

This artist displays a certain naivety combined with a touch of nonconformity in her art pieces. The use of acrylic paint allows for flexibility of style and a freshness and brightness of colour that will endure though time.

Judy’s passion to paint is inspired by where she is, where she’s been and what’s happening around her. Her visual imaginings and her whimsical meditations drive much of her subject matter.

Her intent is to create colours that delight and art that engages the viewer. Her exploration of colour, diverse themes and emotional content connects the viewer with her reality, as a citizen of a complex world.
