Artwork Description

I am always inspired by our beautiful harbour in Sydney with the two iconic features, the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge and as I am passionate about watercolour I have used watercolour to create the transparency and light that is magical on the harbour for this unframed print. Available in other sizes please enquire.

Artist Bio

Judy’s art creates a world of vibrant colour inspired by the ocean, landscapes, Australian wildlife and the tiny beautiful details of the world around us. Her creative career has spanned 30 years in both creative and commercial fields. She’s run a screen-printing and design company in her native UK, designed T-shirts and gift cards, taught Batik in Malaysia and held multiple exhibitions.

Judy teaches Watercolour, Sketching and Soft Pastels in Sydney, runs overseas holidays and never goes anywhere without paper, pen and brush, capturing the world around her in a palette of vivid turquoise, bright greens and luminous blues. In her words ‘I drive my family mad as I leave a trail of paint and messy creativity behind me every day’. Despite or perhaps because of it, Judy receives regular commissions.

You’ll find her works in sketching books, hotels, restaurants and public spaces and even an advertising campaign for Amex. Judy loves to travel and share her experience and talent by teaching others. She now regularly exhibits as part of a Northern Beaches Artist Collective, the area of Sydney that she calls home.
