Gumnut Menagerie

Lately I'm into playing with subject matter upon first glance has no great variations in colour- brown gumnuts against dried leaves in this one- but pulling all the variants and tones I see and bringing them to life.
This one was painted using some gumnuts I brought in from our garden as inspiration.
Our one acre garden is full of Australian native plants and is a source of endless inspiration.

My work has been published in a variety of publications including books and magazines. These days I am focussing on creating art in the form of paintings and pottery.
