RIVER WILD

This artwork is an abstract aerial view of a river crossing over the land. It is part of my “The Meanders” series.
The location that this work is inspired from is the Amazon. With the river being resin it is slightly raised giving the painting texture.
It is a statement piece of art that draws the eye in. With soft blends of green it gives the room a sense of calm.

My name is Julia Dover and I am a mixed media artist from Sydney, Australia.
My artwork is inspired by nature and emotion. I specialise in fluid art with acrylic, alcohol ink and resin.
As a sculptor I work with many materials such as wire, wood, clay, resin and polymer clay.
My artwork has found homes in Australia and abroad. I feature my artwork on social media predominantly Instagram.
In the past I have mentored aspiring artists into developing skills to fine tune their skills. I have also taught primary school students.

Bringing a splash of colour into a home is one of my favourite things.
