Beloved (SALE)

The inspiration for this image was pop-art and the iconic mother child image. I have subsequently done a bronze sculpture of mother and child, a theme I expect to be repeated a lot in my art, being a mother of two boys.

Julia is a self-taught artist from the North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Apart from studying art in High School and doing the odd short course in art, she has developed her artistic skill through the solo practice of art. She has a particular interest in Australian landscapes (gum trees in particular) and also in portraiture. She has had a number of formal art exhibitions including two exhibitions at the Fitzroy Gallery in Fitzroy, Melbourne and an exhibition at the business of a major law firm (at all of which she has sold a large number of works). She has sold works interstate and also internationally through social media networks.
