Gossipears. Lethbridge Art Prize Finalist

This painting is a finalist of the Lethbridge Small Scale Art Prize 2019
The influence for creating this beautiful still life was my childhood. I literally 'grew up' in my grandma's garden, and I was so lucky to see how fruit and vegetables grow and ripe - from a tiny seedling to a plant, from a gentle pink flower blossom to a delicious fruit - full of life and sun.
