Golden Wheat Storm

Having grown up in the Central West of New South Wales surrounded by wheat farms, cattle and sheep, its such beautiful scenery. This painting was inspired by the area around Bathurst. I was captivated by the sun shining on the field with the apparent storm brewing in the distance. Simply beautiful.

I have been an artist all my life, though it has come in various forms.
I have recently based myself in the Southern Highlands and are now focusing on my art - paint based art.
Time disappears for me when I have a brush or pallet knife in my hand. I love to create works that you want to hang in your home.
Nature is my main inspiration. The beauty to be captured is never ending. I love it all.
I work mainly in acrylics and water colour I love and admire other artists experiment with various mediums.
