Artwork Description

“The Gold Digger” explores the psychological burden placed on women who are quickly judged as gold diggers in dynamics society itself creates. Her quiet sadness reflects how easily women are labelled, while the deeper truth is often ignored: many men with resources project their own fears and desires onto women, assuming motives that say more about them than about her.

The work questions why seeking stability or security is treated as something shameful, when it is a natural instinct, in human relationships and in the animal kingdom. Yet women carry the blame, while men rarely examine their part in shaping these dynamics.

The gold background represents projection and illusion, while the loose charcoal lines reveal her humanity beneath the stereotype. Painted intuitively, “The Gold Digger” invites the viewer to look beyond labels and reconsider where judgment truly originates.

Artist Bio

I’m a Brazilian-born, self-taught Australian artist of European heritage. I paint intuitively, guided by emotion, symbolism, and my studies in Carl Jung’s analytical psychology. My creative process comes from within , a place where healing, archetypes, and transformation unfold through colour, texture, and instinct.
My multicultural background shapes the way I see the world: layered, complex, and always evolving. Each piece I create carries a healing energy and invites the viewer to feel, connect, and expand beyond the ordinary.
I believe art is a bridge between the conscious and the unconscious, and my work reflects that dialogue.
Forever unconventional, I create art that speaks to the soul.
My work blends colour, movement, and symbolic imagery to reconnect with our inner freedom, and the truth of who we are. Each piece is created from a place of presence, feeling, and purpose. I don’t follow rules or formal techniques; I follow the heart.
