Why blend in when you were born to stand out

This little colourful hummingbird was created within a series of animal portraits for an exhibition in 2023. I enjoyed playing with the bright colours and detailing with the Posca pens. I feel like hes a proud little man fluffing up his feathers, showing off.

I am an artist living on the Central Coast of NSW. I have loved art and being creative in many different forms all my life. I have focused on painting for the past eight years, inspired by nature, the ocean, flora and fauna. I adore experimenting with colours and the emotions that they evoke.
