Julie is a contemporary artist whose work is inspired by the beauty and complexity of nature., she discovered her passion for art at a young age and went on to study painting under the tutelage of firstly her grandfather (an accomplished artist and teacher) as well as a variety of other tutors.
Julie's work is characterized by her ability to capture the essence of her subject matter with a masterful use of colour, light, and texture. Her paintings are richly layered, with each brushstroke adding depth and dimension to the piece.
In addition to her technical skill, Julie is known for her ability to evoke emotion through her art. Whether she's painting a landscape or a portrait of a loved one, her work invites viewers to connect with the beauty and humanity of the world around them.
Julie enjoys painting in oil, acrylic, pastel, and watercolour. Each medium has its unique properties and exploring them helps her develop a better understanding of colour, texture, and composition.
Julie's paintings have been exhibited in galleries, and her work hangs in numerous private collections in Australia and overseas.
She currently lives and works in a studio in Melbourne.
