This artwork was exhibited in the Biblio Art Prize which asks artists to respond to a randomly assigned work of Australian literature. My book was One Hundred Days by Alice Pung. If you have read the book, then I hope this painting makes perfect sense. Even if you haven't, there is still food for thought in this quiet, contemplative piece.
