Wren family huddle

Native birds are a favourite subject for my art. I have happy memories of blue wrens nesting and raising their young in my mother’s garden. They frequently huddle together on a perch, just as I have tried to capture here.
I have used highest quality paints, canvas and solid wood framing so that this work is ready to display beautifully in your home.

I am an Adelaide artist and have been learning about and practicing various artistic styles for over 40 years. The years invested in learning from several talented, established artists have brought me great pleasure and a growing range of skills. I joined Bluethumb on 2023.

Inspiration for my art stems from my love of the natural environment and in particular the unique beauty of Australia’s landscapes and flora. I am fascinated by colour blending and aim to bring great colours and beautiful plays of light to the canvas.
I work in acrylics and oils on stretched canvases that are ready to hang.
