"From My Window" captures a tranquil moment, with vases brimming with a symphony of garden blooms perched on a sunlit window sill. The scene unfolds in a palette of greens, blues, yellows, whites, pinks, and greens, harmoniously blending nature's hues. Through the window, a lush garden beckons, adding depth and serenity to the composition, inviting viewers to bask in the beauty of a quiet afternoon. For me this artwork is a timeless ode to the simple joys found in the everyday, where nature's elegance meets the warmth of home, I hope you see this too.

Unframed - acrylic on stretched canvas (oil based UV satin varnish), ready to hang.

Artist Bio

Hi, I am Julie Lynch, a full-time artist with a passion for capturing the beauty of nature and the stories embedded in vintage and contemporary objects. Through my paintings, I aim to inspire a deeper connection to the world around us, offering moments of joy, reflection, and discovery.

Creativity has been a constant in my life. From an early age, I immersed myself in drawing, painting, and crafting, always drawn to the natural world and the treasured objects we collect along the way. Living near Sydney’s Cooks River, I find endless inspiration in the ever-changing landscape and the quiet beauty of my surroundings.

My work weaves together the vibrancy of nature with the character of found objects, each piece telling its own unique story. Using rich colours, bold compositions, and layered textures, I combine impasto techniques and collage to create art that feels full of movement and life.

I have had the privilege of exhibiting in galleries across Australia, with my work finding homes in collections both nationally and internationally. Beyond my own practice, I find great joy in teaching and leading workshops, sharing the creative process with others.

At its heart, my art is about transforming everyday beauty into something meaningful. I invite you to explore my collection and hope you find something that sparks inspiration and connection.
