Hi, I’m Julie Lynch, a full-time artist with a love for capturing the beauty of nature and the stories held in vintage and contemporary objects. Through my paintings, I aim to inspire a deeper connection to the world around us and offer moments of joy and reflection.
Art has always been my passion. I’ve spent my life immersed in drawing, painting, and crafting, constantly inspired by the natural world and the treasures we collect along the way. Living near the serene Cooks River in Sydney’s Inner West, I find endless beauty in my surroundings and channel that into my art.
My work weaves together nature’s vibrancy with the charm of vintage and contemporary objects, each with its own unique story to tell. I use rich colors, bold designs, and layered textures, combining impasto techniques and collage to create art that feels alive and full of energy.
I’ve been lucky to share my work in galleries across Australia, and it’s been a joy to see my pieces find homes in collections here and abroad. I also love connecting with others through teaching and workshops, sharing the magic of creativity.
For me, art is about finding beauty in the everyday and transforming it into something meaningful. I’d love for you to explore my collection and I hope you’ll find something that sparks inspiration for you, too.
