Artwork Description

Majestic white stallion leaping over a waterfall — original acrylic painting with lush forest colours and subtle gold details.

Title: Spirit of the Falls
Hand‑painted original acrylic on canvas. Features a powerful white stallion mid‑leap above a cascading waterfall, surrounded by dense green forest and sparkling blue water. Finished with delicate gold leaf highlights for a magical, luminous touch. Signed by the artist. Perfect for adding calm, strength and natural beauty to any room. I had so much fun painting this. It felt magical and inspirational at the same time.

Artist Bio

My fingers have always spoken a language that my tongue couldn’t quite master. Long before I understood the complexities of the world, I understood the magic of the blank canvas. My love for painting didn’t arrive as a sudden thunderclap; it grew like a vine, winding its way through the trellis of my childhood. When I was much younger than I am today, the kitchen table wasn't just a place for meals, it was a laboratory of color. I remember the cool, slick sensation of My tempera paint between my knuckles and the way a jar of murky water looked like a captured storm after rinsing my brushes. Back then, I wasn't worried about perspective or anatomy. I was worried about the feeling. I wanted to capture the yellow of the sun not just as a circle, but as a warmth that lived on the paper. As the years passed, my hands never quite learned how to be still. I discovered that "creating" wasn't limited to a nylon-bristle brush and a palette. It was a visceral need to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. There is a unique, rhythmic peace in the modern alchemy of diamond painting. People see the shimmering finished product, but I see the hours of quiet meditation. Each tiny, resin "diamond" is a syllable; each one placed with precision is a word. When I work on those canvases, picking up the glimmering facets and pressing them into their designated homes, the world goes quiet. The anxiety of the day dissolves into a sea of sparkling geometric patterns. It is art through discipline, a mosaic of patience that proves beauty is built one tiny spark at a time. But my hands don't stop there. They are restless explorers, always hunting for the next material to mold. I have found stories in the weave of fabric, in the rough grain of wood, and in the sticky, tactile joy of mixed-media crafts. There is something profoundly grounding about taking raw materials things that have no purpose on their own and forcing them to hold hands until they become something new. I often look at my hands and see more than just skin and bone. I see the invisible stains of every sunset I’ve tried to paint. I see the memory of every craft project that took a wrong turn and became something better than I’d planned. They are the primary narrators of my life. When words fail, as they often do during the hardest or more beautiful moments of life, my hands take over. They paint my grief in deep blues and charcoal greys; they celebrate my joy in vivid magentas and shimmering golds. Creating has been my sanctuary, my therapist, and my bridge to the outside world. I am still a work in progress, much like the half-finished canvases scattered around my room. But as long as there is paint to be mixed, diamonds to be set, and materials to be shaped, my story will continue to unfold. My hands have a lot more to say, and I intend to let them speak until the very last canvas is colored in acrylic paint. I am a contemporary Expressionist. My art has a distinct, soulful voice, that relies on bold emotion, texture and vibrant storytelling rather than rigid academic realism. Thanks so muchfor taking time to view my work.
